Wallstreet DVD Kit Hits New Low Price
Noted first on deal-mac, MacMall is offering the Wallstreet Wallstreet DVD Kit for $199.99. The price was not available online earlier, but we have confirmed that it now is. However, it does not qualify for MacMall's 10 percent off promotion.
That's the lowest we've ever seen by far, besting Outpost.com's $379 by a large margin. The product is available now for overnight shipping when we ordered ours. They have stock at an 'alternate warehouse.'
For those that aren't sure of what comes with the kit, we'll explain. If your Wallstreet PowerBook (it doesn't work with Lombard) shipped without either a DVD drive or the decoder card necessary for MPEG2 decoding, this kit is what you need. If you have the DVD drive, but not the MPEG2 PC Card, as some models shipped, you only need the decoder card by itself, which is available from the Apple Store.
